Attempted to add the burp cap into the heater core line as shown in the manual with no luck. I instead added in the Canton expansion tank mentioned elsewhere on this forum (summit racing - 1.5 capacity.) This way I didn't have to drill/tap the outlet and risk chips in the line or worry about a pressurized fitting with minimal thread engagement in aluminum.

I should have used a 90 fitting for the bottom 1/2npt for cleaner mounting but didn't know that when I ordered it, a cap and 6' of 5/8 heater hose. The pictured location easily clears the engine cover, now just need to mount the overflow (or find something nicer looking.)

So far everything is peachy - even have water in the top of the radiator after the first warm-up!

We are also building an N/A. Nothing to share at this point. Chassis is on it's side awaiting floor panel fitment. When we get to that point, might consider the Canton tank. Are you using the OEM radiator?

I have the OEM radiator with the stock cap and the former overflow nipple plugged with hose and a bolt. Next parts order will include a higher pressure cap and I'll probably just run the line under the car to the ground.
