Engine bay size

So just curious after watching the powernation episode putting the Ford 2.3 in an 818, how much room is available in the engine bay? I'm sure that inline 4 is much longer than the boxers...

How long of an engine will fit in the 818?

If an inline 4 fit, I'm curious if my spare 3000gt 6g72 might fit. A motor like that would be a significant upgrade from the subie boxers

Can anyone speak on space available?

Frank818 is doing a VR6 into his car. Someone else (canadian 818?) is doing a rotary. They would have good insight. Somewhere I posted pics of measurements for Frank. Maybe in his build thread?
