is there any issue with putting the stamped front steel control arm in the lower inner mounting holes and the inner 2 holes on the rear part?

I say this as I got my +35 wheels and if the arms are mounted in the front lower holes the wheels stick out 10mm front he fenders! if I move it to the back holes things line up better and the wheels fit great.

I guess I am asking if anyone thinks there will be an issue running that way for a street car?

The steel LCA (lower control arms) 02-07 come in 2 widths.
Shorter ones are out of a wagon and longer ones are out of a sedan.
I believe all the sti aluminum ones are only longer sedan type.
The 818 has 2 sets of hole to handle either LCA.
FFR say sedan in inner holes and wagon in outer holes.

The lower holes are for street ride height and the upper hole is for race ride height.
So if your arms are sedan steel, the should be in the lower inner holes.

I may do the opposite and move mine to the outside for some serious camber.

I mostly want the wheels. Flush with the standard align specs. I just wanted to see what everyone else is doing with there setups

LongIsland,
It will work for more camber.
I am running mine in the outer holes. But not for more camber.
Buy running long arms in the outer holes I can run high offset rims. (ET45) 17x9
The high offset rims mean a tighter envelope for the wheel to turn in. Which allows me bigger tires. 235/40-17.
No rub lock to lock.
I did go to a tall upper ball joint to give me more camber gain.

here is exactly what I have. stamped steel arms off a 2004 WRX wagon and had them in the outer mounting holes and 18" +48 wheels and they looked good, but after reading posts|I got some 17x8.25 XXRs in +35 and now the wheel sticks out 10mm. I moved the control arm to the inner holes and everything looks good wheels are flush, I am worried more about the turning angles. it looks like I will only have 1 full turn of the steering wheel each way. I was planning 235 40 17 tires 24.4 diamerter
