I went to connect my throttle cable to the throttle body this weekend, and there is nothing on the end of the cable to connect to the throttle cam on the throttle body. I can pull the cable all the way out of the sleeve. Its just a cable with no stub on the end. I assume there should be some type of stub like the OEM cable to connect to the throttle cam?? FFR didn't intend for some other mechanism to connect this, did they?
I tried calling FFR but they are closed today. I'll try again tomorrow.

Right, there should be a small cylinder at the end of the cable. FFR will probably send you a new one if you ask for it.

That's how the cables come now, just use a cable end with a set screw...

IS that how they come now? I thought I just got a bad cable but used it to my advantage. I the set screw type easy to find in the "Help!" section at the auto parts store.

Thanks for the input. I called FFR today and Tony said thats the way the cable comes now, although I think the set screw end is supposed to be included, but there does not seem to be a separate part number for it. He was going to drop one in the mail for me right away. He told me he actually runs them the other way where he threads the cable from the throttle body to the pedal and uses the set screw end at the pedal. Either way, its probably easier to install this way since you can remove the inner cable and install the cable shroud with a normal nut instead of the split nut thing included in the kit. You probably don't need split washers at the firewall either and can use normal washers.

Any thoughts on which one will work in this application? Lokar's website is about as useful as a bucket of warm spit, and Summit's isn't much better in narrowing down the options.
