Does anyone have experience fitting an aftermarket TMIC or an STI intercooler ? Will the deck lid clear it?

I just installed a 2015 STI intercooler in my car. By mounting the IC beneath the stock bracket on the driver's side (bolt up from the bottom) and beneath an extension of the stock bracket on the passengers's side, it fits with about 1/2 inch of clearance to the engine cover and a little less to the frame cross member.
