Hello,
I have one of the original 818S kits and have been slowly working on it for a few years so I am not discovering all the things that weren't perfect with the early cars. I was installing the coolant lines and found that with the motor in the stock location it will be pressing the upper hose against the firewall. I am using hard pipes from replicaparts.com, which are excellent btw. To prevent a failure at some point I am likely going to move my engine back a half inch which means cutting into the chassis mounts.
Did anyone else have an issue with the motor sitting a little too far forward? It is the stock 2006 WRX engine/transmission.
Thanks
