Is anyone running the front splash guards or rear wheel well aluminum on the R ?

I ran the full rear, and the front 2/3'rds of the front wheel well. The rear will require alot of trimming due to lower ride height (to clear the links and brake lines). If you don't run them, it will be a mess.

Tony, I don't plan on running the rear inner fenders, I have made block out plates for rockers. With out the rear sheet metal access for chassis adjustments.
I do plan on using the front block out on the chassis, don't know if I will use it all.
When I get back to the shop I will take some photos of the block outs.

I ran full rear as well and had to trim a lot out. There are pics in my thread (I'm on mobile now... PITA to link). I recommend running them as Chad suggested. They got covered in tire and road garbage after a weekend on track.

Since you did not use any aluminum from FFR did you provision anything to keep crap out of rear engine area ? The fronts are pretty much protected by the side sails and the front splash guard will catch any debris on the return of the tire

Tony,

I am not really worried about it that is why I have a pressure washer. I have raced a number of mid engined sports cars and open wheel cars, I what I do want to do is keep the crap out of the rockers. I have a air box for the intake from the right side scoop so the air filer is isolated. I want easy access to get the chassis dialed in then might change my mind once i an comfortable with a good baseline.
Part of the fun building a car like this we all get are own take on the finished product.

We are installing protection for the air jacks and dry brake, but that will be it for now, test and tune accordingly.
