Little quick help needed. My '08 trans came without any mounts.

I'm assuming i need this, and ordered it.

What else do i need, I would think that there would be some sort of rubber or polyurethane to dampen shock.
Is one of these the correct parts? Do I use one and throw away the rest?

Thanks in advance!

nope that mount bolts right to the FFR chassis, it's all you need.

On the WRX there's a plate that holds the mount to the frame and you need those smaller pieces, not needed on the 818

That mount is awfully soft, you may want a stiffer engine and trans mounts like Cuscos

the group n mount isn't that bad, if you have a lot of movement you can fill in the rest of the gaps with windo-weld

Thanks for the tip! Sounds interesting and I did something similar. On my past tiburon I had cut out the motor mount rubber and poured my own mount with 2 part 80 shore urethane. Worked and looked great. I herd the group N mount was better than stock and the price was reasonable. Cuscos was just out of the budget for a simple mount I felt. How do you guys feel about the engine mounts. They look stock, should I give it a shot? Can they be replaced easy later on from the bottom up.

Stock untouched mounts move way too much, I haven't seen stock mounts with urethane impregnation but I've done the group n's and it really limits the movement.

they are easy to change out before you mount your body if it doesn't work out.
