Across from the ridiculously expensive and trendy Javiers Restaurant in Corona Del Mar (commonly seen on the even more ridiculous OC Housewives) sits this small parking lot which serves as access to the Corona Del Mar beach front. Not many areas exist where you can get a unobstructed view of the ocean in your shot so I come here often to shoot my cars. You also get such a nice orange glow during the golden hour of the early evening. The pozzi blue paint of this 289 comes off as near black in this lighting as opposed to blue in the daylight hours. The P-51 pilot was nice enough to allow us to park in front of his beautiful P-51 for photos. This was taken on a really sunny day during the Northwest Deuce Days in Victoria, BC.... 1200 deuce coupes in the show...the cobra was still the best :) It is in an old rail yard. These big doors used to open so the trains could enter the shop. I had to do a bit of 4x4 in the roadster to get to these big doors, over grass, gravel, railroad ties ... but in the end it was worth it. Photo Credit Neil Banich. Location

This was shot with my iPhone outside my shop the first day after the Lemans top came back from paint. I had finished spending 300 hours over the winter perfecting the design, body lines and the new custom roll bar. That also included raising and lowering the top for trunk access with electric actuators so as not to cut the painted trunk lid. All of these things were a personal first. It was shot on a cloudy day after rain had melted the last of the snow. 3pm. The culmination of 6 months of planning all there in one pic. Second shot was the side glass completion one week later in my shop. Again with my iPhone. Location

I thought you might be interested in featuring this picture for a couple of reasons.
1 - A build by an average guy who hasn't had alot of industry experience, proudly parked on my driveway.
2 - this is the gelcoat finish from FFR. Although not perfect, it looks great in the picture.
So maybe not a super sexy painted finish in an exotic location.... but it shows what can be achieved by the average guy with your kit.

This was taken in my front yard before towing to a local car show. Towing a fully restored 1972 Holsclaw trailer with a pair of Hondas. 1971 Honda SL100K1 with zero miles. Built from ground up with NOS parts - including engine, frame, suspension, and factory painted bodywork. Also, a 1971 Honda CT70HK0 four-speed model. Original, perfect, never restored with 225 miles since new. By the way, at the show, the Hot Rod got second in class, CT70 snagged a second in class - but only because the SL100 got first!. Location

This photo was taken at Dirtfish Rally School in Snoqualmie, WA. It was around 10:00pm during the time of the shoot. This image is made up of around 10 different pictures all composited into one final image in Adobe Photoshop. There are different exposures to light up the front, side, wheels, and interior of the car as well as exposure for the background. This is #8 of 20 of the 20th Anniversary MK4s that Factory Five offered in 2015. It is still in the red gel-coat and is scheduled to be painted by Jeff Kliener in the fall of 2019. The photo was taken the day after the end of the 2019 Hot Rod Power Tour, 7 days and 2700 miles of driving (Jun 8th 2019) 3 days of rain and lots of water in/on/under the car. After the completion of the power tour, my son and I took a driver through the smokey mountains on the way back to South Carolina. This photo was taken on "The Rattler" Hwy 209 just outside of Hot Springs, NC. During the Hot Rod Power tour, I had an arrangement with BluePrint Engines to promote them and offer a 10% off special. There were no special effects or changes to my IPhone SE settings. I cropped the photo a little to reduce the amount of gravel at the bottom. Location

The picture is taken on the "Tail of the Dragon" on Labor day weekend 2019. Our first run was full of Harley motorcycles at or below the speed limit. We continued over the Cherohala Skyway which was a very nice alternative. On our way back our route happened to go via the Tail of the dragon again. By this time most cruisers have left and the light was beautiful. The picture is taken by one of the road side photographers. Location

This pic (and about a dozen more) was takin just north of San Antonio on a quiet rural farm road. I had just finished the paint on my car about a month prior to this photo. Taken with an old Canon Rebel XT digital camera and a 300 zoom to try and get that blurry background affect. This was taken in May 2019 around noon on a nice overcast day for better light diffusion.
