I was wondering if it has been done or if its possible to put a 6spd Subaru trans onto a 3.8L supercharged engine? amd of course without measureing if it could be put on an 818 with out a frame stretch? of course lots of welding rework. I am happy with my subaru engine thus far but thought a nice 3.8 would make easy power in a stock form all day long and look nice in there with a nice over the top and out the rear exhaust like the GTM. the 3.8L hast to be the same length as the if not shorter than the ford 2.0L

I can find all kinds of grand prix supercharged engine cars for 1-2000 bucks.

You're better off with the newer 3.6 (07+ aura, 08+ Malibu, etc.) but yes, that'd be pretty solid. I'd rather have the EJ than that GM 3.8. Really, I'd rather have an ecotec if I felt like doing mods to get a non spec engine to fit.
