Is there such a part that allows more than one sensor to be installed in the thermo housing?

No, the sensor needs to be in the flow of coolant, if you remote it, then you might get uncirculated water or a steam pocket. Depending what kind of intake, they might have extra holes for it. You could also tap a new hole if needed. Most aftermarket and factory dual plane style have two holes, one sensor, and the other is sometimes is used for bypass.
you could also put a "t" fitting in a heater line

The T fitting sounds easiest. I just tried searching but couldn't find anything. Have you seen something that will work?

What engine are you using? I have my second sensor in the top of the thermostat housing (neck). I think this one is for a 302.

351W. Oh I see. Mine doesn't have a hole, so I am guessing I can tap a hole.

chopthebase,
Autozone part number 814884 which already has it threaded and costs <10 bucks:

Awesome. Thanks Jeff. That'll do the trick
Be careful with that Autozone part. I had one that developed a crack and leaked.

Beware where you put it, a heater line does not always flow coolant and may not give a good reading, anywhere back from the block side of the thermostat works for accurate engine temp.
