While I am still researching different ideals for my eventual 818C build, has anyone use one of these systems on the KONI's that come with the 818 for curbs and speed bumps? I have a pretty good feeling that I will have some issues getting in and out of my driveway without this. A few of the corvette that I have detailed, I had to have them pull in as a pretty acute angle to keep the air dam from scraping the driveway's apron.

The Stig used them on his GTM. http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?506-More-progress-made-on-the-body-)&p=48378&viewfull=1#post48378
Glancing back through the post, it looks like they need to be bored out a bit to fit over the Konis.

Convert to airbag suspension! That would be sooooo cool!

That is exactly where I saw the ramlift. What I didn't know was if the GTM and 818 use the same Knoi shock bodies.

Hi Ken,
The collar of the ram-lift was a bit snug on the Koni Shock body, and it did need to machined about a 1/16th" I think it was. I've since switched to a set of Genesis Racing Shocks, so I can't take a measurement for you. Also, my KONI's were the original yellow shocks. But I would imagine the shock bodies are the same diameter.
What I would suggest to for you to give Simon Hameka a call. He owns RamLift Pro, and actually machines the parts himself. If you can get a good measurement of the diameter of the koni shock body, I have no doubt that he could, (and would) machine the collars to fit perfectly. I would imagine that this would be done at no additional cost, but obviously you would need to ask him to have that confirmed.
I will also tell you, that there is absolutely no way that my GTM would be able to get into or out of my driveway without this lift system. At the very least, you owe it to yourself to give Simon a call and talk it through.
Good luck.
