As promised, I'm back with more "where does this go" questions as I'm getting closer to starting for the first time. I have a '07 WRX that I got as a donor. Bad news, there are a number of missing parts that I'm now trying to sort out. I'm pretty sure this the all part of the PCV system, but I want to double check.

The first question I think is pretty easy. I have a number of hoses that have red caps on them that I want to connect to the right places. I've labeled them A, B, and C in this photo.

"C" comes off the valve cover

And I think all I'm missing for these three is the hardline that normally attaches to the intercooler "D".

If so, what I thinking of just getting some line from Napa tomorrow and just running it across the engine and calling that one done for now. I'll think about AOS later.

please let me know if I got this one right, I'll put the next question in the next post.

One more hose, this one comes off the top of the intake runner. Not sure what to do with this one other than cap it off for now. I didn't find it in the manual, but that is probably because I don't know what to call it :-)

Thanks

Pretty sure A goes to the power brake booster, which you won't have. So it's just an extra vac line. Cap it off and use a hose clamp. I ran mine to my blow-off valve.

It looks like you got your PCV hoses correct. Hard to remember because I ditched my PCV valve early and went AOS, but looking at your pics, that looks right. And yes, you don't need the hard line, just connect with some hose.

Given the engine isn't anywhere near the brakes, it hadn't even crossed my mind it might be brakes. With the hint that it might be the booster, a few minutes of searching confirmed.

THANKS!

You can get a BSNPT plug and get rid of the entire line and barb. Correct on the other hoses too, just tee them together from the vents into the turbo inlet.

great idea on the plug, then never have to worry about it again.
