Fuel filler neck installation into the fuel tank. I have the bump on the filler neck in the groove in the center of the rubber donut. Seems like most people have the bump outside the donut. Which is correct??

Outside. That's the way it belongs, plus with it that far in, the angle of your filler pipe up to the LeMans cap on the body will be wrong and you'll have trouble at that end.
