This was covered long ago but I am only getting to it now. I have been working on the center console and I need to shorten the shifter, it is just way to long. I have sourced a short shifter but I remembered that some of you bought one then went with the k-tuned instead. Does anyone have a short-shifter that fits the factory 5 setup to sell?

Let me check my spare parts stash. I might of tossed my twm shifter. I will check tomorrow when Im in the garage. I went with the k-tuned like you mention. I honestly wished I went that way in the first place. Its so much nicer and the shifts are buttery smooth in comparison to the stock setup and stock + short shifter + stock/shifter shifter install and undermounted like a few other guys.

If I had to rank them from best to worse it would be: 1-10 rank
1 - k tuned - with weighted shiftknob - I had a weighted skunk 2 knob from my honda days - 10
2 - k tuned regular knob from k tuned - 9
3 - stock setup/twm short shifter with weighted knob at stock height - 6
4 - stock setup/twm shofrt shifter weighted knob 2" below rails - 5.5
5 - stock setup .... ****ty - -5

Thats just my opinion I've played with the setup for awhile. I also have rori's brackets that help the ktune setup a bit. I had to run different length cables because Im running AC and the cables that Wayne provided were a bit short.

Thanks Fireblade. Someone had mentioned Dr. Isotope as a solution, seems like a pretty good product.
