Along with what turbo, engine, etc. Too many variables to answer a generic question.

With some spacer & hose work you can fit an 08 STI intercooler in the FFR recommended install location with a stock location turbo & EJ series motor.
However, expect there will be significant heat issues unless you install extra venting/cooling using the stock bodywork.
