I started on the wiring today and have a quick question. I want to remove everything airbag related if possible. This means the crash sensors, ABS control module, and obviously the airbags themselves. I have everything labeled and know what needs to be removed, but I don't want the airbag light to be on in my cluster. Before I start hacking at this wiring harness, do I need to ground or bridge some wires and/or add resistors in places to trick the system, or is there an easier way to just disable the light at the cluster?
Thanks!

Depends on what year your donor is. On early cars you don't have to do anything. On later cars you either have to ground or provide 12v I forget which to a pin on the cluster. There was a bunch of discussion on the forum about this last year but I don't remember where. Fortunately I had an early one.

Thanks for the reply; mine is a later model (2007).

Brian from iWire sent me a doc file to shut off the brake light and the airbag light. PM me your email and I can email you our discussion. You just have to short a pin in the connector...
