Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the VeryCoolParts wiring harness? I've got lots of questions that could be very simply answered by a peek at a wiring diagram. Does one exist? I'd rather not bother Wayne with my stupid questions....

PM me or email me with your questions. I installed one of the first ones on my 818. It is very straight forward.

What did you want to know?

Like I say, I have some pretty stupid questions that would be easy to figure out if there if I had a wiring diagram.
1. The 40 amp and 50 amp fuses seem to supply the system and probably are hooked up directly at the battery but how? There are no means to connect the two ring connectors to the battery cable.
2. There are two wires, one red and one black that come from the fuse box and are coiled together and "capped off". They have no labels. What are these two wires for?
3. There is a 10 or 12 AWG yellow wire (unmarked) that feeds from the back of a blue four connector female connector with no label. What is this?
I any case, a wiring diagram would be very helpful during my 818S build and in the future when the gremlins attack.

1: you put them on the battery clamp bolt.
2: They are for AC/heat power and spare 12V switched. Both are printed directly on the wires.
3: that is accessory 12V+, first click on the key. For radio, Acc plugs, etc.

Thank you very much. That's very helpful.
One more question (for now). What about the "manifold air temp" sender? It obviously goes on (in?) the intake manifold but where? Do I drill & tap a hole for it or are there provisions for it somewhere I have not found yet?

I'd put it in the intercooler exit if you have a all aluminum IC. If not you will have to drill and tap the manifold.

thanks. I do have an all aluminum IC. (2004 WRC)
Would you recommend I drill & tap directly into the IC bottom "tank", near the throttle body input?
What is the thread size?
Thank you again,
rick

i need a diagram if anyone has one for my n/a engine
i would like to know how the ecu communicates with the iac valve on a turbo version 2.5 ej25 engine out of a 2002 impreza
i can only get continuity on one red wire from my VCP ecu is that ok?
i need to try to convert my n/a engine and use a turbo version of the iac if possible
