Ok so I finally got my car out for its first run and MY GOD is it fun! but I have a few codes most of witch were evap which I will program out, but I do have one code I am not sure about "12B6" only after driving. anyone seen this or know what its for also I noticed that when I let off after a the trottle after acceletrating it sounds like I have a blow off valve but it has the stock vale on it?

any thoughts?

P12B6? I've never heard of a code with a letter besides the leading one. Could it be P1286?

Also, a lot of the noise of the blow off can come from putting on a shorter, free-flowing intake. Are you using the Cobb short ram or something similar? The stock intake box and the large bottle inside the donor cars' wheel wells that the intake connects to are the main reasons you don't hear the recirculating bypass valve noise in the stock cars. Once you get rid of those, they sound a lot like aftermarket blow off valves, especially when the intake is right behind your seat.

Yes I am running a short ram intake with a cone filter, I will keep an eye on it.

Then the noises are probably normal. If you post a clip, it will be easier to tell, but your description sounds just like the other 818s I've heard that retain the stock bypass valve (including mine).

+1. My 818 and my WRX with short ram air intakes are very loud when I get off the throttle in boost. Probably normal. Definitely awesome.

yes it does run great and sound great, the 12B6 is listed in with the other 3 P related codes , the COBB guys have never heard of this code or reference.

Not only have I never heard of that code, but a Google search seems to show that no one else has either.

Just to be clear, there's no 'P' at the front of the code, is that right? So its 12B6, not P12B6, right?

What code reader are you using? Could it be malfunctioning?

ya no P in front of it, I am using the old COBB AP V1 just for reading and it has an old Stage 1 tune in it, the plan it to get a new V3 AP and put in new program and remove some codes.
