this might sound like a stupid question but i am having trouble setting the shifter cables with the 5 speed shaft
A. i know the shaft on the tranny has 3 positions fore <------> aft and the middle is neutral position on the tranny. When determining the correct location for the shifter
cables where does the shifter handle have to be when the fore aft shaft is in neutral?does that make sense?
B. Wayne P told me that the shifter will rotate while in neutral to get into any gears i think 3 and 4 are in the middle of rotation 9 the exception)
any help on this will be greatly appreciated
