I called my insurance company today (AAA) and they said they can't insure my GTM. I live in so California and have a clean driving record. 42 years old.
Who do you have?
What did you insure it for $ ?
What is your annual cost?

Thanks, Tim Sharp aka Motohead GTM #59

I have American Modern. It is reasonable. About $750/yr for 75K value limited use. The only thing they require is some high performance drive experience.

Wanted to revive this thread and give a shout out to Robbin at Midwest (one of our forum sponsors). Just obtained insurance for my GTM in CA. Half the price of the national heavyweight. Robbin and his staff were very prompt and efficient in processing this...it was a piece of cake. Highly recommend.

I have State Farm for my home and daily drivers. Robbin was about 1/3 the cost for my occasionally-driven vehicles...even with me sending State Farm a bunch of money each year...

I'm with Robbin on my GTM as well. Very reasonable pricing even for a project that can't be driven yet. I needed some type of protection around $85-90K as my homeowners wouldn't touch it as a project car.

Same here, same company, similar value. Seems ok, but you never know until you have a loss and deal with the insurance.
