I didn't round the bolt out but broke two 3/8 drive 10mm sockets, one 1/2-3/8 adapter and one 3/8 ratchet to get 4 cam bolts out.

ridiculously tight. for the size of the bolt, it is unmatched.

The only thing I recall being harder to remove is the rx7 flywheel bolt. I sheared a 3/4! breaker bar loosening one of them once. stepped up to a 1" from then on.

One of my plastic cam gears broke apart when my timing belt went a few years ago, good luck trying to get the cam bolt out with no cam gear to lock the motion. Luckily I went with upgraded cams for the 818.

In my case, I think it was the quality of the Lowes socket and the way it was designed.... why would they neck down the hex from 10mm to 8 and into the socket?????.
I bought a new 10mm hex socket that was the same size right into the socket and it did OK.

Reminds me of the ******* bolts I tried to get out.. 2 breaker bars, 5 sockets, blowtorch, can of penetrating oil. Impact hammer. Finally bought new hubs and bolts.
