working on the rear suspension alignment:
Here is what FFR recommends:
40304
In doing the rear alignment, I have all stock parts and was able to get the recomendid toe and castor. just wondering what others are using the upper adjustable trailing arm for? I set mine to the recomendid length in the latest revision of the manual which was 18"
40305

Tnx Doug, I didn't read yet the new revision, interesting to see they now have recommended lengths to start with. No mention on the Subaru lower trailing arm, though. But Wayne has a thread on how to adjust the rear suspension/alignment, everything measured. Maybe that could help you?

thanks frank: i think i found the thread. called rear suspension set up pointers. this is taken from it:
1: you mean under the "drum area", probably.
2: Aluminum one is the lateral link, the one toward the rear of the car is the toe link
3: The link/arm going from the top of the spindle toward the front of the car is used to make the toe and lateral links parallel. The short one from the top of the spindle toward the transmission is used to adjust camber.
wayne put alot if good info in that thread for the rear alignment
here is the link.
