We know that Wayne P has build a 3.0L H6 818 with manual transmission and Aloha818 has successfully worked out a simple modification to convert a 4EAT auto 4Cyl to FWD only... and shortened the tail shaft to fit inside the body.
But...has anyone used both the EZ30 H6 and a matching 4EAT automatic together in an 818...?
It would seem that a 01-04 Outback 3.0 LLBean without VCD or VCT would work for a N/A street driven 818.... 212-250 HP in stock form with good low speed torque.
Using the 4EAT would be key as it can be converted to FWD using the added fuse....where the 5EAT cannot.
