I can't get 184 ft-lb for the rear outer bolts. The aluminum begins deforming into the double holes. I got to 120 ft-lb and stopped. What has everyone else done?

I thought of maybe putting a high strength spacer to distribute the load from the nut across more area of the aluminum.

I flipped the inner one so the nut was on top. The bolts are flared and i tried not to turn them. I only went to 120 as well. Honestly, this car is so light. Every component from the old car is way over designed on the 818.

You flipped the inner? I would of thought to many flip that outer to give a larger surface area on the aluminum. The nut has a dia of ~1.00 in while the bolt flange is ~1.10 in.

Sorry, i meant outer. Yes correct, the head of bolt is flanged. I tried to keep bolt head still while torqueing the nut

I think I'm going to go and grab a high strength wide washer and put it on the bottom.
