aftermarket steering wheel

I have NRG seats in my car and was looking at NRG steering wheels, I like the looks of there deep dish wheels more that there flatter ones. but I know with there short adapter and flat wheel the steering wheel will be to close to the signal leavers, but if i was to use the short adaptor with the deep dish wheel do you think it will basicly end up in the same spot the stock one is. regular adaptor with flat wheel vs shallow adaptor and dished wheel same depth?

I can say that I went with the short hub and had to add the 1/2 inch spacer and the slim quick disconnect to get clearance with one of the flat style wheels.

My spacer is 1.25 thick, hasn't made it to powder coat yet...
