Yea...just ordered my hotrod! I want to go digital on the gauges to had FFR remove them from the kit. Does anyone know if that will cause me any trouble. Like what other parts does that delete that aren't in the box of gauges. For example, do the sensors get deleted too. Where does the signal for the speedometer and tach come from?
Thx

The tach signal generally comes from your distributor or ignition box. Not sure what you are running for that, but the guys here will be able to help. Deleting the gauges should also delete the sensors, but, when you buy the new gauges they should come with them. I am running Autometer's Ultra Lites and the sensors came with the new gauges. I am running a GM automatic and had to get an electronic converter from Autometer to make the electronic speedo work as well. Post your engine and tranny specs and someone will know for sure.

Whatever gauge that you order should come with the correct sending unit (or at least tell you what is needed).

I changed to autometer old time style Ford electric gauges. No major or minor issues except a bit of hassle with the gas sender in the Boyd tank.
