Tighten up the shifting on your 818 with a precision billet aluminum shifter with rear facing cables that are half the length of the FFR cables. Comes with shifter, cables, shifter and cable mounts. Shift knob optional ($79) Specify 5 or 6 speed trans.

Are you also offering a solution for the reverse lockout on the 6 speed?

There are a couple of different ways to do it. One guy I know is using a electric door popper solenoid to actuate it. I think you could use the truck release cable and use the STI knob assembly.

Giving this a bump as I'd like to see what lockout solutions have been done.

Wayne showed me how to do this with a bike lever attached to his VCP Shift lever. He installed a bracket that positioned it constantly open to reverse. The bike lever, when pulled, locks reverse out and gives me a light showing it is "In Lock Out." This is for the 6 Speed. I also had to reshape ( Move Back ) my rear bumper to make room for the 6 Speed tail shaft and the shifting structure.
