I purchased the upgrade double-adjustable Koni shocks for my 818S. I am in the process of fitting them and wanted to check that I am doing it correctly. They are about 90mm (3.5") longer in the barrel than the standard yellow 818S shock. When fitted to the front (as far as I have got so far) the problem is that at target ride height of about 115mm (4.5") they have only 25mm (1") travel before hitting the bump stop. Seems a pretty small amount of travel s oam just checking.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Cheers
George

Question what benefit to you get when you upgrade to the Double-adjustable shocks?

S shocks are twin tubes, R shocks are Monotube, Doubles are aluminum bodied shocks that allow adjustment of the rebound and compression.

thanks!
