I know I've seen some info on a parallel fuel line mod somewhere, and I thought I had seen someone's suggestion using stainless steel braided line.
Hoping someone out there documented this change already for us non-subie guys.
I thought it would be good to consolidate it in a separate thread.
This is what I have found so far, in the 3 links below, but its a modification of the stock lines
Is there a "fuel rail mod"? Yes. Many have modified their stock (series) fuel rails into parallel fuel rails.

Wouldn't you know it..... once I start this thread I find the picture. It was in Longislandwrx thread simplifying the EJ
Post #1 - picture only.
I want to make the mod mainly to simplify the system and make it look neater.

Anyone have details of what was done there?

The GBOD (green brackets of death) were removed (cover the fuel rails and support PS lines) and they went to an aftermarket setup.
It feeds from the tank into a T, one side of each T goes into one side of each fuel rail. The other end of the fuel rails then feed out into another T. That second T feeds into a FPR and then back into the tank.
That pic is a little confusing because of the side feed STI fuel rail.

This is my idea of parallel, from the fuel filter will feed "T", then two lines connected to the rear of the out front fuel rails, out of the fuel rails to another "T" then to the fuel pressure regulator and then dump back into the tank.exactly like Mechie said but different fuel rail.

ixiz also makes 3 port fuel rails so you can run balanced return.
