18 inch Kirkey Seats?

My wife has asked for high back seats and sat in some Kirkey pro drags at Summit and gave them the seal of approval, provided that I mod the sides to make them a little lower, and pad them.

Can anyone tell me if the 18 inch seats will fit on both sides of a mk4 with the e brake in the stock location? This is a street car only and I'm thinking of some custom upholstery. I found these photos on a mustang forum that I'm thinking of as a starting point.

That is a great looking seat. I wonder if a seat heater will still work with the holes... Bill
