Turbo S TMIC or STI TMIC?

I'm looking at ditching my stock 2006 WRX TMIC for either a used STI or new Turbo XS model. I want to replace the stock one before I start mounting the body in case I need to address some fiberglass fit issues.

I'm leaning towards the Turbo XS, but the used STI's are a little cheaper. I don't know jack about these inter coolers.

What would you guys do?

IMO anything larger than the stock WRX one will not fit the current bodywork. Ask me how I know? lol.

for search and clarity purposes, I assume you intended to type "Turbo XS" intercooler? Unless you are trying to fit Porsche parts to your 818 or there is a new brand out there that I'm missing out on!
