side and center review mirrors

I have been looking at a few different mirror options. With the guidance of other builders this is what I have found and/or purchased.

Center Mirrors:

$169 - MIRROR FLAT SPORTS CAR BLACK (http://www.hrpworld.com/store/default/black-with-flat-lens-center-post-series.html)

Side Mirrors:
$14 each - BLACK BABY TURBO MIRROR UNIVERSAL LEFT OR RIGHT (http://www.mooreparts.com/1643-AC857800/)


I will be receiving the "MIRROR CONVEX SPORTS CAR BLACK" tomorrow. My dash is the newer plastic style and lacks the integrity to mount the mirror to it without some sort of backing under the dash. Not sure how I am going to do it but will figure it out tomorrow and post what I tried here.

I have a pair of those side mirrors, save your money they don't stay where adjusted! (bought them for my reverse trike)

I bought carbon fiber mirrors for the sides... 185 for the pair... http://www.aprperformance.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=91&Itemid=51 I bought them off ebay with universal mounts... they are gorgeous!

Thanks Brandon to start this thread. I will be using the center mirror like the one you got. You are not allowed to use side mirror that are right out of the 80's, it's illegal on the 818!! :)

why not use something like this:

I have the white version that I use on my challenge car, it's mounted to fiberglass with rivnuts, the challenge car will only go 150mph and the mirror holds up fin at those speeds. The black and white versions are composite plastic with aluminum shaft. The mirror head is mounted on a pivot ball so you can adjust as needed.
