I'm thinking ahead for assembling the Wilwood 4pot f/r brake kit for my 818. The kit includes 2-piece rotors, which I would like to safety wire instead of the recommended red loctite.
I haven't found a replacement set of drilled brake rotor bolts that I know 100% will work. I'm posting here because I know a lot of you guys are using the same brake kit. Wondering if any of you have a hardware recommendation or have contacted Wilwood for specifics.
FYI, the brake rotor bolts are 4-28 x.75 - I've only found standard options instead of metric.

My rears came with pre-drilled bolts -

But the fronts came with button head screws -

If they're the same, just order another set of rear bolts.

You would have to check on the strength of the wilwood supplied brake bolts and compare them to these aircraft bolts. They can be ordered with the head drilled for safety wire.
Here is a link.

But I would first talk to Wilwood and explain your concerns.

BTW, the bolts on my front brakes are 5/16-18x1.00, and the rears are 1/4-28x0.75. Wilwood part #230-0318 is "Rotor Bolt 5/16-18 x 1.00 Lock Wire Drilled", so that sounds like they would be the right thing.

Wish I had seen that earlier today.
I called wilwood but they were unable to cross reference the info to come up with that part to order. Fyi, most places require a minimum 100 bolt purchase for the above hardware.
I have sourced an arp alternative. Part #300-0802. They're pricey at around $90 for the 32 bolt set but I should be able to sell half to another 818 builder to recoup some of the cost. Plus arp makes top notch hardware.
