Hey builders
I was assembling my front suspension and came across this difference. The left side is the passenger UCA and the right side is the driver side UCA. You can see one side the balljoint mount is angled and the other side the balljoint mount is perfectly flat. Is this 2 different generations of balljoint mounts? 818R vs 818S mounts? What's going on here?

After some further research it looks like I have 2 different generations of balljoint mounts. I'll have to make a call to FFR. I'm not sure which one is more recent.

My 818R was completed (and picked up) on 2/22 and it has the UCA like the one on the right

Flat is more recent, angled needs to be modified on one side, see the 818 tips and tricks thread

you are not the first to get one of each style!

I would want them to both be the same. But WTF they sent me two CF rocker extensions of the same side... and I'm expected to use them because "it won't show"

Alright, I'll be looking to make a match of the UCA on the right.

With the amount of times this has come up, you think FFR would double check when they ship....

I got two right side door liners... they were quick to ship a replacement and return tag, though.
