Hey guys,
I read through the long post about the ABS setup but I wanted to have one here just for dialing in the proportioning valve for full Manual setups to make it easier to get answers. I''m running the 4 pot front brakes and a single pot rear with Stoptech Street pads and I'm working to get the right bias. I plan on posting my findings here after some hot laps at the track but for those who are on the street with a non-ABS system, please post your set up and "how many turns from full out" number to help others start the process of fine tuning this. From my understanding (and experience with the hot rod) the best way is to jack up the car, step on the break pedal enough to have the fronts lock, while having the rears engaging with enough force so you can still barely turn the wheels. Sound right? Let me know! Thanks!
