Please can someone be so kind as to measure this for me please? I think it is from an 05/06 WRX but cannot be sure, anything would be great please...

Broke out the BAVC.

bellhousing to shaft center is 6.515".
bellhousing to blockoff plate is 25.938".

What do you need the measurements for?

Also this was from and 02 WRX (I think 5mt transmissions are dimensionally the same) any this one had been replaced at least 3 times before I got it by the look of the junk yard receipts in the glove box so who knows what it came out of.

Thanks for measuring that, bang on. Trying to support the driveshaft whist I clean up the engine and wondered about out a buck! Space is tight in my garage so I trying to be clever!! Thanks again, don't suppose you have the same for the engine? Front of the cover to the bell housing seating face? Now that would be amazing and I would buy you wine!! Cheers VH

Approximately 15-1/2" passenger side timing belt cover to transmission seam. Some eyeballing there. The main flywheel sits further back than the above cover. This was on an '07 2.5 wrx engine.

Go with Goldwing's measurements. My engine is out at the machine shop now but all Goldwing's advice has been spot on.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. The frame kept getting in the way of using anything accurate, thus the eyeballing. 15-1/2" up to 16" until someone has a better measurement. Sorry I couldn't be more accurate. :)
