I'm confused about the spacers needed for the rack mount. My kit came with only two .925 spacers. The manual says .865 spacers and I assume that the .925 spacers was a revision. The most current manual revision says to use the .925 spacers on the left side and use .865 spacers on the right side. I do not have any .865 spacers included in my kit or listed in the components. Should I double up some of the others, make my own. It's not really a big deal to come up with my own solution I just wanted to know what some of you early builders have done. I also have to believe that they don't expect us to mount it with no spacer in the back.

Made our own, worked 2 revisions, never got it right, I have 05 rack tho

saddle didn't fit right, bolts wrong length, no spacers at all and the length the specified didn't work either

just make your own, hopefully your frame is new enough to have the rack in the right location, early ones were .55 too far to the left, many just aligned the rack off center, Craig and I extended the rack 1.1 in see my build thread

I also extend my rack and added a roll pin in the extension.

I ground mine down slightly and just adjusted until it was level and straight. I ended up using a short and a long, but I may end up just cutting one the right length.

Yes I did. one for each car.
I used the original lock washer (bendable) to attach Craig's part to the rack shaft. Then I used a roll pin to lock it to the swivel.

chassis 115 2006 wrx wagon donar. my manual revision 1h i believe has the correct spacer size listed 1.12. unfortunately my kit has .85 in it. it appears it will fit up with the correct spacers.
