Hey there everyone,
So I was asked to come up with some good clutch and flywheel options for the group. Here you go.
These options are for 2002 - 2005 WRX donors.
ACT - Heavy Duty Clutch kit
16.9 lbs, sprung disc, push style
$662.28
Comp Clutch - Stage II Clutch kit
18 lbs, sprung disc, push style
$460.68
ACT - Street Lite Flywheel
13.5 lbs
$286.21
ACT - Pro-Lite Flywheel
9.4 lbs
$312.93
Comp Clutch - Lightweight Steel
13.75 lbs
$235.75
Keep in mind that a lighter flywheel will help your engine rev quicker, improving acceleration. There is a draw back to going too light, and that tends to be quite a bit of clutch chatter. This is fairly normal, but I wanted everyone to be aware of it prior to ordering.
Let me know if there is anything else that you are looking for. I enjoy working with all of you, and would be happy to find you whatever you are looking for.
Happy Building all,
Erik Johnson

Are these the only clutches you offer, or recommend. How about the exedy clutches and fidanza ones. Always had good feedback from those in my hondas. But I am new to the subaru.

I will look into Fidanza, I do however offer exedy, as well. Are you in need of one? If so, I will be happy to price that out for you and see if it is worth while to you.
Thank you for the question, I only get better if people like you help.

I am in need of a clutch. I've only known exedy and Sachs clutches. I need a flywheel and a clutch that can handle 300ish to the wheels and be suitable for daily use. Any recommendations?

With all my subie applications ACT clutches seem to be the best for all levels of power. For a 300ish range the stage 1 should work well with a stock resurfaced flywheel

Fireblade - I will put some options and pricing together for you later today. I need to run into the shop this morning, so it will be later this afternoon if that will be alright?
Thanks for your post and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

I am leaning toward the Exedy KSB03 kit. It is labeled as OEM replacement. I'm not planning on exceeding 300hp, so this should work well for my build.

The KSB03 is now a discontinued part, they now have a new part number for these. KSB03A One thing to keep in mind here as I did do some research on this, depending on what you are seeing for a part number here, it may not include the Throw-out bearing, so you may want to check on this, prior to ordering from anyone.
As to the Exedy KSB03A I am going to be slightly higher on price here guys, I am sorry about that, but the best I can offer the group here is $225.00 plus shipping. I don't really know too much about this company, I have always used the ACT clutches for my Subaru and Mitsi guys. I highly recommend the ACT clutches, but if someone wants to offer more feedback on the Exedy, that would be great.
Guys, I will always do what I can to offer everyone the best prices possible, and still make a small amount of money so that I can remain in business. There are however going to be times, when I simply can not compete with some of the wild deals that can be found on the net from time to time.
Give me a call with any questions and I will do my best to be of help to everyone.

That is crazy.. They must have replaced the old model literally today.. Earlier today it was up on the Exedy website and now it is the KSB03A as you mentioned.. timing!
And your group price is really good. Sure you can find a deal here and there, but we like to support our vendors as well :)

Any advice for higher HP builds? I've already bought an ACT lightweight flywheel. (9lb) I've bought the Exedy in the past, but I'll have a lot more HP than a normal WRX on this build. We're also driving 2 less wheels and with a 1000lb-ish diet.
I was thinking the EXEDY 15802HD which is rated for 319fp Torq at the wheels and 399fp at the flywheel. This was on a 2600lb car though.
I don't want to do a 3-6 puck as I've heard there's a bit of chatter with those.
