Has anyone considered bushing the bore for the top front spindle strut bore. Since we don't use the cam bolt seems like its a pretty loose fit to just depend on the tightness of the bolts to hold your alignment in spec. I also assume that the upper control arm can make up for centering the bolt instead of it cocked to the inside. My other thought was to open up the corresponding hole in the bracket to accept the original cam bolt. Any thoughts?

I bought an "Bolt, M16X1.5X65 - Hex 10.9" from BelMetric. $4.84 each. It fit tight in the bracket and spindle.

You can use the cam bolt if you play with the clearances with a sanding drum... I assembled mine before that "use the rear bolt" instruction was published.

It didn't take much to open up one of the holes to use the cambolt. That's what I did.

I went Bob's path. Bought a class 10.9 16mm flange bolt. Perfect fit.

I also used 16mm flange bolts. Worked like a champ.

McMaster Carr doesn't seem to have those. Does anyone have an internet (i.e. NOT local like ACE) source?
