I sandblasted my OEM lateral links, and I'm painting them tomorrow. Can I remove the brackets welded to them? I don't remember there being a use for them on the 818.
Thanks, Adam

Brackets are for a rear sway bar. Remove away!

Haha, I was just about to post that I found my answer in YOUR build thread, so thanks x2!

I was going to leave mine on just in case we decide to play with a rear sway bar.

I left mine for future experimentation possibilities as well

I cut mine off.

Like Bob, I elected to keep mine against the future need of a rear bar. But I think it's extremely unlikely that I will ever need one, and if that snaggy little bracket decreases ground clearance at mockup, it's gone.

Perfect timing on this post! I was just about to clean up and paint my lateral links when I spotted this. It does look a lot better without the brackets.
