Steering Rack U-Joint Size/Splines?

If someone gets a moment, would you mind measuring the diameter and spline count of the steering rack shaft, as well as the steering column shaft? I'm thinking of creating a new u-joint setup and need to know what u-joints I need to order.

My steering column shaft measures 17mm and has 35 splines. It is assembled, so I count the splines on the rack, but it also measured 17mm.
