I would just like to inform the 818 community that I do stock and ship internationally Genuine OEM Subaru Shortblocks. They are 100% brand new in the crate. This is a inexpensive alternative to using a donor engine that could have a substantial amount of abuse or other unknown issues that can occur. With the purchase of a new OE motor you have piece of mind knowing nothing has happened to it or yet to make a lot of horsepower . Average shipping on a new OEM Shortblock is about $125.00 that is tracked and insurance more then the value of the engine.

My list is

2.0L Turbo Motor - 1724.99 + Frt (10103AB330)

2.5L Turbo (04-07 STi) (05-09 Outback XT/Legacy GT) 1699.99 + Frt (10103AC030) EJ257

2.5L Turbo (05-13 WRX) 1699.99 + Frt (10103AC040) EJ255

2.5L Turbo (08-13 STi) 1699.99 + Frt (10103AC050) EJ257

We also stock Brand New OEM Block Halves and Brand NEW OEM Crankshafts!

Don't Forget your gasket kit!

How about some head prices?

Are these drop shipped or do you have them in stock for pickup?

They are available for both pick up and shipping. We can ship anywhere in the world for those who purchased there 818 and had it shipped outside the USA.

Cylinder Heads- These are a BARE assembly except for the cam caps which are machine to each individual cylinder head and the valve guides. Will need EVERYTHING else.

2.0L - 528.00 each

2.5L WRX Heads - 492.80ea (06-10)

2.5l STI Head - 492.80ea (08-10)

2.5L WRX Heads - 492.80ea (11-14)

2.5L STi Heads - 492.80ea (11-14)

If you plan on using STi heads I need a VIN number off of the donor vehicle. They used different heads for the same model years! I will try and do some research and see if they are all the same or what the deal is. Only pertains to the earlier models 04-07.

Do you have turn key plug & play crate motors?

Unfortunately Subaru does not offer that. They only offer new shortblocks and all the other parts to build it. Also things like Cylinder Heads do not come complete. They are bare heads, but they do have the guides pressed in.

putting together a Scooby long block is not that big of a deal Gator, if you have a head shop measure your shims/buckets and mark them it all bolts together pretty easy if you can follow directions.

Are the valve seats installed? My machine shop just called and said that my heads are cracked, seems to be a common problem. It looks like the only danger is having the seat fall out, I'm told some people run them anyway. Of course mine is the 2.0L the most expensive ones.
