My donor is a 2006 WRX sedan with 43K miles. In general the condition of the car is beautiful, but now that I've got it stripped down I've noticed the 2006 era LCA bushings look a little dry and cracked, as do the CV boots and most of the other rubber parts.
Have any of you got recommendations for replacement bushing sets?
Thanks... Jeff

Turn in concepts has quite a few bushing packs. I would call them up, they will put together a package for you everything you need, nothing you don't at a good price.
I bought my CV and steering rack boots from partsgeek.com, got the umpi stuff iirc, came with grease and new bands.

Prothane is a aftermarket performance manufacture of bushing. Same goes for Whiteline and also Energy Suspension. All 3 are great choice if you want OEM or even the STi bushing which is a step up shoot me a PM and will give you the best price possible on all your OEM Parts

Energy Suspension has a master kit #19.18101 : 2002-06 Impreza, WRX : Front control arm bushings, rear trailing arm bushings, front & rear sway bar bushings and manual transmission shifter bushings. $130 at Amazon.com. They come either Red or Black. I used one of their master sets from my 1990 Acura Integra race car, works great. You do need a press to push out the old bushings and to insert these.
These are urethane though, if you want solid spherical you'll have to look somewhere else.

I can get SOME aftermarket but not as much as other vendors can. We only deal with our local warehouse here in Rhode Island for performance parts.

Hello JeffS, go OEM WRX, if the STI ones are the same sise go with these, because they are harder, and if you want to go 1 step further go grN bushings, they are the most expensive, but trust me you won't regret'it, and you won't change them for the rest of your life (that's what I have now). Polyurethane bushings the only good thing about them is how easy they are to put in, because in most of the cases they are split in half, but your old bushing you already have to press it out, so why not press a rubber one in??? THE BIG DOWN of these bushings if you want them to last every year or so you have to put all your car apart to regresse them again, or they get so dry that they brake!!! and you cannot/showld not in no case use them were there is rotation movement, my recomandation is based in experience, and to help you chose I will quote them 1-10 to give you an idea: Polyurethane bushings(3), WRX Oem(4), STI Oem(7), Group N(10) PS: If you choose to go with GrN bushings be careful were you get them because there are lots of websites out there but they send you STI Oem ones and you will never Know, I got mine at rallispec at least I'm sure that they are all genuine, if you need the part number I think I got that marked down some were, good luck...
