I am really struggling getting the rear trailing arm and lateral links connected to the knuckle. It appears the angles are off, with the knuckle pointing in to the front too much and too far away from the frame. I have 06 components. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Post a photo and the guys here will see what's going on and help. I thought I'd show my rear suspension but then realized that the real authorities on this forum are Erik Treves and Wayne Presley. Look at their build threads - Erik's is the "Flash" thread and Wayne's is "VeryCoolParts" (see page 5). Both of these guys use some cool upgrade parts but you will see the configuration to compare to yours.

Double check you put the brackets on the correct knuckle and have the correct knuckle on the right side. The brake calipers mount to the rear on the knuckle. You might need to use a jack to help raise it or loosen/tighten the threaded rods to move things into position.

Thanks, I loosened/ removed the lateral links from the frame then I was able manipulate the geometry to get it together, thanks for the help.
