I just received a leather steering wheel from FFR for my 818S but what adapter do I need to mount it on my 06 WRX steering column? I'd like an adapter with the least depth possible so the steering wheel is closer to the dash. I've heard it's Momo-type, but what adapters will work?

Hey Pete
I bought a NRG SRK-100H but have not installed it yet.

I really want to get a very thin quick release type, So if anyone has a good suggestion for one of those also.

Either Wayne or 33 Emachine were NRG dealers. Can't remember who.

Erik (33 Machine) is. I'm getting NRG seats from him. Still debating an NRG steering wheel (the one in his is 818 is nice) or the FFR.

Anyone considering the NRG flip up adapter? Would make getting in and out easier.

What is the "NRG flip up adapter"?

I used the NRG short adapter with the FFR steering wheel. The steering wheel nut and shaft interfere with the horn button. With this combination you can spacer the center bezel of the steering wheel out about 3/8" or eliminate the functional portion of the horn button. I got rid of the functional portion of the button.

The flip up style adapter has a lever at the bottom which allows the steering wheel to hinge up. I was going to use one for my '33 but Erik told me ended up quite a bit of "play" or slop in it after a while. I'm going with the quick release.
