View Full Version : Nominal Suspension geometry

Since I'm about to start building my suspension, it would be great if there was a set of nominal measurements to get the suspension close to optimum alignment during assembly. Of course, every car will need an individual ride height adjustment and alignment, but getting it as close as possible now, should hopefully make it easier to dial in later. For anyone who has gotten that far, can you post some measurements of the following (with vehicle/alignment notes):

Front coil-overs: Spring seat location (manual just says: "Screw the spring seat down on the sleeve so it is closer to the unthreaded end.")

Front upper control arms: Front and rear arm lengths

(Front toe appears to be an issue due to the steering rack decenter, so I'll leave that TBD)

Rear coil-overs: Spring seat location (manual just says: "Screw the spring seat down on the sleeve so it is closer to the unthreaded end.")

Rear control links (manual just says: "The rod ends should all be threaded an even amount on both sides in the tube for installation.")

Thanks!
