Power booster clevis/nut for what use?

I do not have the installation manual, but I do have the disassembly manual and on page 45 they say to remove the clevis and nut from the back of the power booster for later use.

What are they used for?

The kit comes with a pushrod to replace the vacuum booster. You'll attach the clevis to the pushrod in the kit which then goes to the master cylinder.

Ok, best thing for me is to match the disassembly manual with the installation manual so that I better understand. :)

You will also have to drill a new hole in the brake pedal 1/2" higher than the current one. You use the new hole with that clevis/pin.

The manual has disassembly instructions in it in the beginning.
