My 06" WRX donor came with a Cobb rear sway bar. Will this work in place of the stock sway bar in the front of the 818s?

the question is will it be too stiff? Wagons have tiny 13 mm bars, are they too soft? all can be adjusted... :-)

How do you adjust the stiffness?

You can adjust the effective bar size if the bar has multiple end link locations.
A larger bar would likely cause the car to understeer more. Rather, find someone who wants to buy your bar (probably get $100 easily) and buy a stock one for $20.

OK, that sounds great. Thank you

modify the connection to be able to change the distance from the pivot to the end of the arm. Many racing vehicles use a bar attachment that allows sliding the attachment along the round swaybar's arm.
shorten to stiffen, lengthen to soften
the 818 begs for a real, straight bar with adjustable ends vs reusing that tortured stock bar. someone should look to see what the green car has on it at SEMA. IIRC Tony told me it used a wagon donor with the thinner bar.

We need to use the sway bar from the donor?
What does FFR recommend to use?

I have 2 of the thin wagon bars laying in my shop. Here is a picture of the green car. The bar looks thicker than the wagon bars. But I'm not sure.

They probably rushed this car but that pic makes me great about my brake lines. ;) Does anyone have the stock sway bar mounts? I bought on on ebay and it came with one of those smaller crappy mounts. DOH!

sway bar on our 818S RHD was used from our 02 wagon donor. correct we assembled this car, in the office, on the carpet, in between phone calls. took us roughly a month. Joe@FFR

Joe, what is your opinion on the after market sway bar compared to an stock 06' WRX sway bar?
