818 uses Subaru outer CVs?

I don't know much about tranny and drivetrain parts, does the 818 use the donor's outer CVs or some FFR customs?

I am a bit confused.

If I understand, there are 2 axles in the rear, one on each side.
There are 2 CVs per axles, one inner and one outer. The inner I guess couples with the transaxle and the outer with the hub?

Then the kit uses custom axles supplied by FFR which use FFR inner CVs and FFR outer CVs?

Ffr supplies axle bars only. They mate the oem front inner cv to the oem rear outer cv.

That's odd, on FFR's site they say you need from the donor the "REAR CV joints", but not the fronts.

You are confused.
The donor supplies all the CV joints. FFR only supplies the round shaft part of the half shaft assembly.
Hope this clears it up.

Then FFR has built a custom shaft to fit the Subaru's CVs. Got it.
